when i first was researching this camera, i found the shake reduction, dust removal thing...a "selling" feature. however did not think any further about these options. until now. i somehow picked up a dust fleck. i learnt how to clean cameras when working with blacks photography....so i got all my gear out and started cleaning......NO LUCK. frustrated, i went to the warranty card to get ready to call them, when i read on the box once again dust removal option.....hmmmm... attempted the first mechanism, just a click, retested, still fleck:( then tried the 2nd option, to bring the mirror down.....pulled my lense off again recleaned turned the cmera off and BINGO...no FLECK!!!! YIPPPeeeee. what an ESSENTIAL option after all!!!so, hopefully any of you looking at cameras or have this camera...this option is priceless!!!!

speaking of camera's, Jenny you would be in photographic heaven. There is tons of awesome textures, and architecture to capture, oh and of course all the different cultures, and expressions. We'll have to play with some of the photos on my camera, when i see you..chow for now.
