tasty harvest




had a plentiful harvest. lots of tomatoes, that my motha gave me a wonderful chutney recipe that makes the whole house smell DIVINE for days. sooooo yummy. thx MOM!! dried some herbs, just before frost, that was a tad lucky:)

the virgina creeper turns a brilliant red in the fall......i thought mine was intense, until i went to mom's garden at the farm and it was impossibly redder!!!

tulips, honeysuckle vine and algerian ivy new to my gardens this year

my tulips came up wonderful (thx for the tip from a client to put them a little deeper in the fall so they come up a little later in the spring and don't FREEZE!!!)
tried and true wind hearty pansies....fantastic for decorating the tops of cakes or "things"
bug repellent....

haden and i spend endless hours weeding, watering and eating the produce from our gardens. my plants have developed an immunity to a size 9 T footprint embedded on their leaves from time to time. all in all haden has seemed to have inherited g'mas g's green thumb!!! :)
