so glad for our smelly family member home (wouldn't be a good post without a picture of us all reunited...tear)
thank you to the kindest mail man ever.
he seen a dog in someone's backyard fence that clearly was upset. he tried calling her, she wanted to come but she was too scared. so he came and asked me to see a photo of preya. and yes in fact it was her, i grabbed my sleeping baby, my 4 year old in his pajamas and ran down 2 blocks. i whistled the whole way, then i looked up......
da da dah..
and just like a disney movie, preya went flying over the tall fence and ran into our arms. such a happy ending. not sure why or how she got there in the first place. after 4 days of her gone we are just so HAPPY she's home. and by the way we live in the best neighborhood EVER, everyone was helping look for her, putting up posters, calling for her searching "shady" animal haters back yards. thank you to all of you kind people that make our neighborhood the BEST!!
i just never thought it possible we could get so attached to this magnificant dog. wow, we're suckers!! but that's ok!! we're fine with that.

*possibly taken in a tan colored pickup truck, newer, not sure of brand, just recall a truck like this driving slow around our house with a big kennel in the back....didn't think anything of it at the time:(

hulga is the goose that is learning to fly. her companion is a pig, doris who most certainly cannot fly. an interesting combo to say the least!!! if we run she flies beside us, when she's really excited.
